Newark, NJ (October 13, 2020) - Panasonic is proud to announce the release of the brand’s first box-style LUMIX Digital Single Lens Mirrorless Camera DC-BGH1. Based on the Micro Four Thirds System standard, the new LUMIX BGH1 takes advantage of high mobility, an extensive interchangeable lens lineup, and even includes technologies Panasonic has acquired though the development of professional cinema cameras, camcorders and the LUMIX GH series. Against a background of increasing streaming opportunities in addition to traditional broadcasting, Panasonic offers the LUMIX BGH1, an easy-to-install camera with high expandability allowing multi-camera control. It can be used in a variety of ways from shooting on drones to IP remote control to live streaming and more.

Panasonic has released the LUMIX Webcam Software (Beta) for Windows / Mac, a one-stop webcam software making it possible to use an applicable LUMIX camera as an webcam for purposes such as live streaming or video conferencing.  It is easy to feed the camera view over a USB connection in optimum output resolution (1280x960 or 1280x720) according to the application for live streaming or video conferencing. No extra device is needed.

Panasonic Corporation announced today the launch of Conductive Ventures II, with a commitment of $150 million, a 50% increase from the first fund. Headquartered in California, the new fund will invest in expansion stage enterprise software and hardware technology companies in areas including artificial intelligence, financial technology, digital health, future of work, commerce, autonomous vehicle technologies and advanced manufacturing, among others. The first fund invested in companies such as Ambiq Micro, Blueshift, CSC Generation, Desktop Metal, Gen. G, Jackpocket, Proterra, Self, Sprinklr, Survata and Versatile. Despite the young vintage of Fund I, one of its first investments, Desktop Metal, has announced its intention to go public.

Technics unveiled its first Reference Class integrated amplifier, SU-R1000.
