The Panasonic TOUGHBOOK 20 is a fully rugged, lightweight laptop that easily detaches to become a 10.1" tablet. The detachable laptop features a durable MIL-STD-810G and IP65 design along with a magnesium alloy chassis, so it can take the abuse of any job.
At only 3.9 pounds, this 2-in-1 machine is good on-the-go and the clever built-in handle also functions as a kickstand, providing on-the-job flexibility. To power the workday, the optional bridge battery allows hot swap battery replacement without disruption. The gloved multi touch display is sunlight-viewable, making this hybrid laptop perfect for the outdoors. Offering the best of all worlds for mobile workers, the TOUGHBOOK 20 can be used in 6 different modes to meet every business need.
Better Battery Life and Improved Reliability
Panasonic TOUGHBOOK customers often find themselves away from power sources for extended periods of time. For them, battery life isn’t a convenience, it’s a necessity to get the job done. TOUGHBOOK 20 supports an optional second battery that can be inserted into the keyboard to double battery life. Additionally, TOUGHBOOK 20 now comes standard with a “bridge battery,” making it possible to hot-swap charged batteries, effectively providing unlimited battery life without the need to shut down or hibernate for our most demanding users.
Enhanced Features
The TOUGHBOOK 20 now makes standard several premium features to ensure that customers have the device they need to get the job done. With a growing number of users relying on stylus inputs for signature capture, every TOUGHBOOK 20 model is now equipped with not just a touchscreen, but an integrated digitizer as well. Additionally, TOUGHBOOK 20 now comes with an infrared webcam and supports Windows Hello applications. Users will enjoy a rear-facing 8MP camera, now standard on all TOUGHBOOK 20 models. The TOUGHBOOK 20 will also come standard with twice the storage space, using a 256GB SSD drive.
