During Environmental Education Week this year, I found myself reflecting on the incredible moments, impactful conversations, and inspiring initiatives that have taken place at Panasonic Energy. Environmental Education Week is always a reminder of the power of fostering environmental stewardship and equipping the next generation with the knowledge and tools to create a sustainable future.
At Panasonic Energy, we believe that environmental awareness starts with understanding—and understanding thrives on curiosity. That’s why engaging with our communities is a priority. By creating opportunities for young minds to explore the intersection of science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) with environmental conservation, we foster a deeper appreciation for sustainability.

Programs like Million Girls Moonshot have inspired young learners across Reno-Sparks. Meanwhile, initiatives such as Scratch Home School—featured at SXSW EDU 2025—have revolutionized interactive education with IoT-integrated STEAM curricula.
These efforts strengthen our commitment to sustainability. By aligning with our GREEN IMPACT pledge to reduce CO2 emissions, Panasonic continues to champion education as a driving force for a greener, more innovative future.
