A brighter, more equitable future

At Panasonic, we’re always looking to the future. It started over 100 years ago, with our founder’s guiding vision of making today better than yesterday, tomorrow better than today.  And guess what? We’re still seeking ways to enrich lives through innovation, contribute to the wellbeing of the planet, and secure a more equitable future for generations to come.

Real challenges demand real action

When the way forward is uncertain, it’s normal to feel worried. At Panasonic, we share your concerns. That’s why we’re taking real action.

But what does that mean?

Through Panasonic GREEN IMPACT, we’re taking measurable steps towards ambitious yet achievable goals. Decarbonization, electrification, circular economy activities – big changes for a brighter tomorrow.

Our impact and why it matters

Everything we produce has an impact on the planet. It’s our responsibility to make sure that impact is minimised wherever possible. But what does that mean in practice?

Scroll down to explore our impact and the changes we’re making.

Turning our responsibilities into real action

The climate crisis demands urgent change. It may be the greatest challenge of our time, and a real threat to our future, but we believe we can make a significant impact in the here and now. Across three pillars of Panasonic GREEN IMPACT, we have identified over 300M tons of CO₂ we can neutralize or avoid.
  • We’re minimizing our impact on society through our commitment to decarbonize, with plans to cut 110M tons of CO₂ from our value chain by 2050.
