To commemorate the first anniversary of breaking ground in Kansas, we wanted to do something for (and with) the community as a way of saying thank you for welcoming us to the region. The result was a two-day celebration made possible by the participation and enthusiasm of our new neighbors.

Panasonic celebrated one year since breaking ground on our new EV battery production facility in De Soto, Kansas, by collaborating with NASA and the National Institute of Aerospace to host a free, fun, family-friendly event focused on STEM education and career opportunities.

Panasonic Energy is proud to be a sponsor of Kansas City’s public art installation 2023 Parade of Hearts, which supports local artists, raises money for area nonprofits, celebrates diversity and brings the community together.

Panasonic Energy North America joined our neighbors and partners from the local school district for the Swinging FORE Education Golf Tournament, which raised money to help support the educators and students of USD 232.
