Panasonic Spotlights New Indoor Air Quality Solutions at IBS 2020

ClimaPure™ XE, nanoe™ X, Cosmos™ and more smart, healthy solutions to be demonstrated at booth #C2649

Las Vegas, NV – Panasonic, an industry-leading manufacturer of air conditioning, heating and indoor air quality systems, will showcase its latest suite of heating, cooling and healthy indoor living solutions, including the ClimaPure™ XE  ductless mini-split system and the Cosmos™ healthy home system, at the International Builder Show (IBS) 2020. For smart, healthy homes, the latest suite of Panasonic smart technologies provides a comfortable environment for occupants by reducing common pollutants and odors to maintain good or healthy indoor air quality (IAQ) within the home.

Designed for residential and light commercial use, Panasonic’s new ClimaPure™ XE ductless mini-split system with built-in air and surface purification technology, nanoe™ X, sets a new standard in comfort and indoor air quality (IAQ) for the U.S. ductless heat pump market. Incorporating patented nano-technology, the unique heating and air conditioning system reduces odors and pollutants such as pollen, mold, bacteria and viruses while providing whisper-quiet operation and optimizing temperature comfort in the home. Together, these benefits allow occupants to enjoy better comfort in residential and light commercial environments.

Panasonic’s Cosmos™ is the only professionally installed healthy home system that intelligently monitors IAQ 24x7 via IoT technology to help maintain a healthy indoor environment. Placed throughout the home, air quality sensors detect pollutants such as VOC’s, fine particulate matter, carbon dioxide and humidity. If unhealthy or contaminated air is detected, Cosmos™ works automatically and discreetly in the background to remove contaminated air and moisture from the home.  In addition, Cosmos™ can filter recirculated air, and draw in fresh, filtered air from outside.  With the healthy home system, homeowners are able to monitor the quality of the air they breathe in real time via a mobile application. Once air quality is back to normal, the fans automatically turn off.  Cosmos™ can be customized for any size home, new construction or renovation.

“Panasonic is focused on improving overall quality of life for our customers, and with our latest heating, cooling and healthy indoor living solutions for the residential and commercial markets, we’re underscoring this commitment from both a product and indoor air quality perspective,” said Allan Dziwoki, vice president and general manager, Panasonic Appliances Air-Conditioning North America. “Each of our technologies are designed with the entire lifecycle of the product in mind – from the contractors who install our equipment to the home and building owners who operate them. With sleek, quiet, energy efficient designs combined with Panasonic’s unparalleled support, our HVAC and IAQ solutions are best-in-class.”

This year’s International Builders Show will be held at the Las Vegas Convention Center from January 21st to 23rd. At the show, Panasonic will be exhibiting at booth #C2649 where its team of experts will be on site to discuss Panasonic’s suite of in-home solutions for healthy air.
