Panasonic LUMIX Named Official Photography Sponsor of the 2019 Cannes Film Festival, with Exclusive Activities Highlighting the New LUMIX S Series
NEWARK, NJ (MAY 14, 2019) – For the first time, Panasonic LUMIX has been named the Official Photography Sponsor of the Cannes Film Festival.
Professionals including the 400 photographers covering the event this year will have the opportunity to discover Panasonic’s new LUMIX S1 and S1R cameras. The full-frame mirrorless cameras are equipped with 5 axis dual image stabilization, can film in 4K 60p, are dust and splash resistant and are designed for use at temperatures as low as -10°C.

During the Festival, LUMIX will be presenting it's LUMIX S1 and S1R to the registered photo professionals by the swimming pool of the Majestic Hotel. They will have the opportunity to discover these new cameras along with their ecosystem, and try them out for a few hours, guided by our teams and Photo Ambassadors.
In addition, several masterclasses held by Olivier Anrigo, Professional Photographer and a LUMIX Ambassador, will unveil every detail and the full potential of these exceptional cameras.
