October 21, 2025 – Panasonic today announced the launch of its newest OLED TV, the 77Z8BA, a stunning 77-inch model that joins the brand’s iconic one box cinematic experience series lineup alongside the acclaimed Z95A and Z95B models. Combining outstanding picture and sound quality together, the 77Z8BA will become available for pre-sale purchase starting October 27, 2025, with wider availability rolling out in mid-November.

The Z8BA OLED TV harnesses a powerful chipset, the HCX Pro AI Processor MK II and the Master OLED Pro Cinema Size panel, achieving exceptional brightness and performance rooted in Japanese engineering expertise. Drawing on years of Hollywood collaborations, Panasonic has also meticulously tuned the Z8BA’s color accuracy for cinema-grade viewing.

The HCX Pro AI Processor MK II powers the 4K Remaster Engine, which elevates streaming picture clarity by combining AI and mathematical models for crisp, natural images, and premium streaming noise reduction. Gradation has also been improved to reduce banding.

The Z8BA also supports Dolby Vision IQ™ Precision detail, a picture enhancement system that aims to reveal extra details. It is an advancement on Dolby Vision IQTM and operates by adjusting the light levels in each area of the screen to draw out more detail, without boosting the brightness to a point where the image looks washed out.

This technology works in tandem with the TV's embedded ambient light sensors to perceive how bright it is in the living room and then adjust the on-screen picture to ensure that every detail can be seen, even the darkest of scenes.
