Modern luxury design is all about communicating a cohesive, seamless look throughout the home that says easy elegance. To achieve this, it’s essential that every detail, from the floors to the doorknobs, is carefully considered. That’s why, when building a new development of two semi-detached homes on Twenty-First Street in Etobicoke, Castleform Developments was looking for high-end interior doors and hardware that complemented the luxury aesthetic of the rest of their homes. But although the company offers their homeowners luxury and upgraded finishes, they also believe in giving their customers the most value for their money. They needed doors and hardware that fulfilled both quality and value requirements.

The Panasonic Solution
Castleform Developments had been using Panasonic for the past five years across a number of product ranges with great success, so they decided to consider the brand for the doors and hardware in the Twenty-First Street project. They started by visiting the Panasonic showroom because they like to see and test new products to ensure homeowners are getting the best available.
“The Panasonic doors and hardware program is designed to meet the needs of production builders and our custom home builders,” says Jason Disher, national sales manager at Panasonic. “The three pillars to our approach for doors and hardware are quality, design and durability. I think it’s also important that we have a product that is easy and fast to install. Time is money for our installers, and we take that into consideration when we put a package together.”
After analyzing Panasonic’s range of doors and hardware solutions, Castleform Developments chose the PA Design in a Cherry Finish and the P1 Series with a Stainless Steel finish. Featuring an advanced surface coating that repels fingerprints and dirt and prevents scratching for low maintenance and long life, the selected door is a great choice for everyday home living. Panasonic’s Warp-resistant Laminated Veneer Lumber structures also work to ensure that even the largest doors remain flawless over time for excellent longevity and resale value.
“At the project on Twenty-First Street, we’re doing a joint venture with Panasonic and we are showcasing a lot of their home solution products in these homes. What I like about the doors are the look, the feel, the simplicity, the installation…just about everything,” says Voong. “We found that the high-end interior doors and hardware fit well with this project”

“The look and feel of the product is very important, especially to our custom builders. They want something that’s going to be unique, that’s going to differentiate them from other builders and developers in the market. I think bringing that product to them, that has a different look and a different feel to it, is going to make sure that they have something that their customers are going to be happy with as well,” says Disher.
“The partnership we have with Castleform has been tremendous from the get-go, and we’re very happy to be working with Peter and his team.” Voong agrees, and wouldn’t hesitate to share his positive experience with other leaders in the industry. “I highly recommend Panasonic’s interior doors and hardware to other builder and developers,” he says.
