From Paper to Paperless
After implementing a new policy to go digital, Lenczner Slaght, Canada’s leading litigation practice, knew they would need to upgrade their existing document management system in order to digitize the thousands of legal documents they receive each day. They wanted to be certain that the scanner they invested in would be a valuable asset to the staff who would be using it each day. After assessing their need for a robust scanner that was reliable, durable and easy to use, Panasonic recommended the law firm to test out the KVS2087 from their departmental scanner line.
Following a product demo and a 14-day trial period, Lenczner Slaght knew the KV-S2087 was the scanner they needed and purchased three units, one for each mailroom on each floor of the firm. “After testing the Panasonic scanners, we knew these solutions would be the right fit for the types of scanning we do,” said Thiyagarajah.
Boasting high-speed scanning of up to 85 pages per minute, the KV-S2087 quickly converts client forms, legal documents and reports, invoices and other large-volume documents in various sizes and thickness into data, relieving the law firm’s staff from much of the tedious work of scanning. Additionally, the scanner’s large-capacity ADF can hold up to 200 documents at a time, making quick work of the up to 3,000 documents scanned daily at Lenczner Slaght. Since a large number of documents can be scanned continuously, the need to set up scanning parameters time after time is eliminated, allowing for higher work efficiency. The Panasonic scanners and Image Capture Plus software, in combination with additional imaging software developed by 360 Business Ventures have provided Lenczner Slaght with a complete document management solution.”
